I have one session remaining. I was supposed to work two today, but I am only going to work the morning Prelims Session. I will be a DNS for the Evening Finals. I'm going to go home and rescue Mrs. Doug28450 from an unruly 13 year old.

Yup.
For whatever reason, I never get cramps before the 3 hour mark (roughly 50ish miles), then the risk starts. Higher heat and pace increase risk. Typically happens around 3.5 hours/60-something miles.
So on my midweek rides which are 50 miles, it's a non issue.
For summer Saturday rides, which are typically 65-80 miles, I will have first set of TUMS around 40 mile mark. Repeat in approx 1 hour. This works really well for me to prevent cramps. YMMV.

Hey @Bah Humbug, what's the proper etiquette for waving while running on the MUP. I seem to not quite get it.

The title is misleading. The memo reads more like MS is getting out of the phone manufacturing business (the majority of the layoffs are in Finland) but that they will continue their pursuits of a more seamless experience over multiple platforms via universal apps. Really, with the number of PC and tablets running W10, it only makes sense to have keep the mobile OS running since it's capable of piggy-backing off of the others.

My morning keeps getting better. Worst part was the run. Went to diner for late breakfast with family and daughters actually got along. Now listening to some vinyl in the basement where it's nice and cool. Current selection is first album from The Police circa 1979.

I almost understand not having air conditioned houses in cool, dry, mountain climates. I don't agree with it, but I almost understand it.
What I can't get my head around is tourist-area businesses not being air conditioned. I'm talking about towns like Truckee, South Lake Tahoe, Breckenridge, Aspen, etc. It does get very warm in these places for a significant fraction of the summer, and the stores and restaurants are simply stifling. Who wants to go into an oven to shop for unneeded souvenirs and other touristy goods? Or to eat a meal. Unlike the houses, the stores don't generally have the option of good cross ventilation.
There is a really classy men's and women's casual and resort clothing store in Truckee called Cabona's. Lots of the top name goods like Tommy Bahama, Nat Nast, etc. I always stop in every summer to pick up some of the Woolrich T-shirts in both short and long sleeve. But I won't go in there on a warm day. It just isn't worth it. Why wouldn't a place like that install air conditioning? Mountain resorts are steadily becoming more popular in summer and aren't only winter havens any longer. Why wouldn't a store like that install air conditioning. Wouldn't that have to boost business during the ever more important summer season?
