Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I've been shopping there lately, but I ended up getting better prices at ribble (like waaaay better). It got here in just a few days with the free royal mail shipping, too.

Also, the DCR10MHD code 10% off code doesn't seem to work at CC anymore

I'm loving my new area. It's 15 minutes from the DFW airport where I work, and then only 10 minute ride to rural areas in the other direction for cycling. Oh, and 10 minutes from primo MTB trails, too.

I just can't figure out why I didn't move here sooner!

The cool part is that "rural" area is really just "mega mansion estate" rural, so it's not going to be turned into subdivisions any time soon.

Good point. I like the glass is half full approach.

And thanks for the heads up. I am almost to the point of creating an Excel spreadsheet for all the options. Between clothing and wheels, I just can't keep the choices straight .

As if I didn't have enough leg problems already . . . a yellow jacket stung me in the knee today. Thankfully no overpriced EpiPen was required.

So apparently Strava phone app stops recording a ride if you go and take a look at the track from another ride

I'm just gonna have to start bringing two phones with me.
