Rode today. It was nice not to be crippled by something lately. I still had to take it easy, having been off the bike so much, I'm out of shape.
Lots of breaks to recover to a reasonable heart rate until about 50 minutes, when things settled down and I was able sit at my LTHR for the rest of the 2 hour ride. That was weird, but I liked it. Usually when I struggle with my HR being too high it just sucks the whole time.
My back is mostly healed. It was only painful for about 20 minutes of the ride.
Tomorrow is DST, so I should be able to start getting in mid week rides!!! So happy about this.

I wouldn't try that line on GEICO. I think Warren Buffet is too savvy for that story. But now Flo at Progressive, she may go for it.

I would think it would be hard to prove that your dash cam was 1) in the car 2) running and 3) working properly. Given what I've heard about the availability of police car dash cam footage...

Remember Monday when a father son duo went missing on the MTB trails around here (well the lake). They found the father's body

First and foremost, I wouldn't consent to any type of insurance program that's predicated upon the use of a dash cam. I'd certainly use the dash cam and bring out the evidence if it supports me, but there's no way that I'd volunteer to Big Brother myself.

If I wanted to liken the two I would have done a much better job than that. I'm a grizzled veteran of 25,000 posts!

I seem to remember a time when Vol went to... foo? P&R? Well, one of the other forums, at least, when an Addictionite was being, uh, unkind behind another member's back. Vol was kind enough to point him/her in the direction of Addiction so that they could tell their side of the story.

So, considering the sheer volume of DI2 threads in teh fouty-one I don't want to start a new one... here's a weird question.
I've had ghost shifting when rear wheel hits a good sized bump. It jumps 1 cog lower just for a moment, then back up. It's a Supersix. Is this typical?

If someone takes something knowing that it belongs to you, is that considered lawfully obtained and admissible? Again, I'm not so sure.
