My daughter got a call from the day care center at about 3:00 yesterday that the youngest granddaughter had 102°F fever. That caused cancellation of some evening family plans, but there has been no trace of any fever since that one observation. Kids are very strange that way.

Answer my question. Do lawyers call witnesses "5th grade tattlers" now? If that's the case, and in the case I witnessed, I guess that shoe would fit. It's also a shoe I'll wear again, if I were to be asked. I will also "rat off" texters, and other distracted killers that I share the road with.
Some people deserve to be tattled on.

So I compromised - took a ride, stopped off at the LBS and bought booties but no gloves. My "ski" gloves were fine on the ride, if a little bulky. The booties, while nice for the wind and insulation on the uppers, didn't do much for the pedals and footbed sapping warmth from my feet. I'll try a sock with a thicker sole tomorrow, but it's looking like 1.5-2 hours would be the limit at <20°.
@rjones28 will be happy to know that the brakes felt pretty damn good. The rear feels like it's pretty well bedded, but the front still isn't biting quite as well. Shift lever for the RD seems to be missing the ratchet on upshifts, though - the RD shifts, but the next upshift will (occasionally) require that I push the lever the full travel (with little/no resistance), release and then click it again to upshift. Maybe it's the cold, maybe it's the thick gloves providing poor feel - I dunno, but I'll just have to keep an eye on it.
Wheels/tires feel fine, but I wasn't exactly gettin' after it today.

Man, four Di2 threads on the front page and another on eTap (I assume). I guess that electric shifting has hit the enthusiast market.

But which system is better? Sounds like we need another thread.

Farmer tan
Any of you folks drive with dash cams?
I'm usually not paranoid, but a thread on my local r e d d i t page has a bunch of people recommending that everyone use a dash cam at all times in case they need to prove fault in an accident. Same idea for cyclists with rear facing cameras.
Maybe it's something I should look into.
