Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I should have done that, now that I think about it. How much are they - $55 or so? I think I even had a gift card in my pocket that would have covered it.

On the philly steak side, I enjoy a fatty sandwich/burger more than I should and the more I cook for myself, the more I wonder how Americans get food so wrong all the time. Everything is carbs and fat and grease and sugar. Not saying my diet is perfect (far from it), but it does boggle my mind from time to time when I compare the two cultures.
Without any conscious effort, I've become less and less enamored with the big, meaty, fatty burgers/sandwiches. Maybe a Philly every month or so, but that's diminishing, too. I haven't even been craving Shake Shack

Ordered the wrong metal hinge for my lil car.

I should spend this time working on real cars, this entire afternoon I could've re-done a front end for the sunk time on this toy.

You could get the same look with a pair of white shoes, a sharpie, and a 4 year old.

I guess that means you don't have a limited slip differential either.

Eat your hearts out, Addictionites. Dinner tonight was grilled flank steak sliced thin and plated with arugula, navel orange and golden BEETROOT salad. Dessert was vanilla bean ice cream with chewy chocolate chip cookies, home baked from purchased dough. Ferrari-Carrano 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon to wash it down. Yum!

A BBQ, steak, and burger purveyor in the Houston burbs serves 10 oz patties. Stupid excess. I would just as soon have only 5 oz.
