I pay for prime. I don't even use the service; I just want to hurt the people who pay for regular shipping through Amazon. It's the little things that make my day satisfying.

Have some coffee. Or some prune juice. That'll get things in gear.

Rude.

PepeM 04-20-17 06:55 AM

Luckily I don't buy anything from Amazon so I remain unhurt.

Mine is medically induced. Just wait until June. Then you'll see...

Uh huh.

seedsbelize 04-20-17 07:05 AM

As long as I keep riding 5-6 days a week, I'm able to maintain my weight pretty well. For the moment.

Sorry for the redactions; can't be helped--terms of my employment.

Love it. And, I'm feeling pretty special and thought I'd share.

PS: True story. And, I guess the moral of this little story is that we're all special in our own special ways. ;)

I don't believe that was necessary

To actually burn calories, you need to Strava your rides. Otherwise it doesn't count.

Thankfully I do that. And I pay strict attention to the elevation readings and the calories burned. That way, I know I'm doing it correctly.

Well, firstly, my posting was meant to be ironic. Perhaps it was rather too so.

But! Don't think I haven't thought of the Zombie Apocalypse! That is precisely why I've been hoarding ammo and I've gone out to my favorite online survivalist outlet and purchased an abacus.

I replied because I'm reading the book, World Made By Hand by James ****sler and it tells about how many professions are worthless after an apocalypse. :)

I like Kunstler. He has written some very thought provoking stuff. He wrote a book called The Long Emergency that is also really good and had served as the impetus behind the World Made by Hand series.

You can find his blog at: What's Up - KUNSTLER

You or someone else recommended the book in another BF thread. :thumb:

I feel fat.

Scarbo 04-20-17 07:44 AM

I grew up on a small cattle ranch. I learned a ton of old-world stuff growing up. I'll be fine in the coming Armageddon provided I'm not decimated by a direct missile strike.

I recommend a diet of beet pills for you.

Off to Alabama for three days of tandem riding with 98 of our closest friends. :thumb:
