My wife (runner) is always mad at her garmin time. What's up with that? |

Also, we're under a flash flood watch. I have never turned around to avoid flooding while on a bicycle.

Strava says sub-40, so this isn't even a question. Strava is the final arbiter.

BTW, how yuppie am I for having just bought new deck furniture for the house at Costco and driven it home in the Lexus? Because I feel awfully yuppie.

You guys are too much! I can't wait to reach my 50th birthday so that I, too, can achieve that Inner Calm that comes with an inflated sense of my own abilities and potentialities. Too much fun! Anyway, got riding to do now; gotta leave the geriatric ward for a little while. Do behave! |

The thing is, no matter how hard you try not to, eventually you'll reach your 50s too. :D How comforting.

I don't know - is she mad at time, or distance? The time should be spot-on; the distance is generally going to be over by a bit because of not running the perfect lines (but that's good, because I'd hate to have it be possible to run slightly too short and not hit a full 10k/ marathon/ whatever for posterity.

To what do you attribute this rare phenomenon?

Exceptionally. But I bet it'll be comfy to lounge on the deck in your pink and powder blue button down and deck shorts.

Sunday is my day to take a longer than normal bike ride and do nothing the rest of the day. I was planning on breaking the mold today, having done nothing all week. Instead, I took a much harder than normal (I left it all out there) bike ride and did nothing the rest of the day.

I wish there was some pie in the house.

I doubt there is any pie in town.
