Keep reading the addiction series. It may all become clear.

Cosstco is likely the only place in Merida to get pie.

You can't even GET pizza at any of the Costcos I've been to.

I can get shepherds pie at my Costco but I don't know what kind of meat is in it. It's a mystery but mighty good.

Their pizza is good. I'm talking about pie.

Isn't that more "preppy" than "yuppie"?

Or "Situational".

And I'm still not clear why NY hasn't occupied NJ yet.

Er, yeah, crossed streams in my head. You can get good pizza at the ones I've been to. You cannot get pie, good or otherwise.

40+3, valygrl. The construction deal was a big issue for me, and totally on me, as well. Going from a sketchy 2 lane to a sketchy 1 lane bugged me big time. I wasn't nearly as aggressive as I needed to be, so I slowly worked my way backwards. Of course, every lap was a massive acceleration out of that corner, and it began to be a single line. I got caught behind a couple guys that cornered worse than I was cornering, and that was it for that.

After seeing footage of the wreck yesterday, I'm very happy I was aware of what was going on yesterday, and finished on two wheels today. It's as brutal as anything I've seen in bike racing.

Really? I swear that I've seen 14" diameter, 4lb pies at Costco.

Hmm... further research to be conducted.

But we don't have shepherd's pie, either, that I can think of. The menu looks like it's just pizza, hot dogs, and one or two other very middle Americana things. The pizza is awesome, but I've never wanted to try anything else there.

Up here, they have a hot turkey sandwich, with pesto and some other stuff, that is a guilty pleasure. I like it more than the pizza, which I think is... well, not horrible.

WhyFi 04-23-17 06:34 PM

Crap. I was semi-joking when I said that the pies were 4 lbs. Turns out I underestimated - 4.7 lbs.

Correct.

We can get whole pies, apple, though it might be just seasonal.

Having not exactly covering myself in glory with my photos last weekend, I submit another entry into the goat-photograph collection:

(with bonus critters!)

These guys were a little upset with either me, using their fence to take a break, or with the goose (not pictured, he was bossing everyone around) that had just chased them around the pasture.

Hope everyone had a good weekend! I got in a ~40 mile ride today (no computer on this bike yet), some of which was on a MUP. This was my first time using one of these. Goodness, the stereotypes presented on BF about the majority of users are pretty spot one .

I look forward to the Cervelo Man updates. The place certainly turned zooey upon her arrival. I am now within 65 pages of the end. Looking forward to taking a breather.

Is that a pig in the center of the pic?

Oh... I thought y'all were talking about the food court, not what food they have in general. They might have pies here.

Yes. He was actually quite friendly, which as I understand is typical of the pot-bellied variety.

Yep, my Costco has pies most of the time and they are large.

I have no idea what the food bar has. Never eaten off of there, just samples. :thumb:
