Hey @gnome, Do a ride here and take pictures.

That's a 1,000km north of me. And involves a ferry crossing that they charge a pretty penny for. I also have no real desire to get that close to that many spiders. I'll give it a miss.

You're no fun.

Tried mashed potatoes w/celery root (celeriac)?
Do about 2/3 potato 1/3 celeriac. Butter/milk (or cream)/garlic as you like it.

I'm learning some stuff today.

We should talk about food more!

I've worked out why LAJ and Heathpack are faster than the rest of us.

We're a food eating group with a cycling problem. They are dedicated to hard training.

Wake up!

Coffee first.

I've had my coffee, and yet have nothing to add. I am hungry though. Interesting discussion on Temptation over in 50+, getting a little heated.

rpenmanparker 04-18-17 06:24 AM

I have had coffee, morning pills, and a mozzarella/parmesan omelet with basil and chives. Now I need to go shower so that I can pick up the elder of my two-year old granddaughters for her Gymboree class. Mom is still recovering from her multi-abdominal hernia repair and cannot drive or lift the kid. I love this stuff.

Is "Temptation" the equivalent of "Addiction?" I don't read the 50+ although I did just turn 52.

I've had my grains, milk products, lean meat, and egg. All disguised as a 250 calorie breakfast muffin more accurately gelatinous goo that I mentioned a few days ago.

Does not sound appetizing.

My usual breakfast is a low-fat Chobani Greek yogurt and a banana. I believe that adds up to approx 225 calories, that plus a mug or two of coffee keeps me going until noon.

I got a new toy. It's a tiny little bluetooth single earbud that I can put in my right ear while riding. Allegedly the battery lasts 6 hours. No more unsightly wires flopping around the back of my jersey (at least until I lose this thing).

Just kidding, I'm returning it. Doesn't take a charge.

Yay! 2 for 2 on electronics not working in the last 3 days.

How many cats do you know that have pouches?

It's a wallaby with a bay in its pouch.

BTW...How does one copy and paste photos from a Mac so they are big? Attachments can only be so large (1.9 MB) or they won't upload.

None - I was asking if it was a cat IN the pouch, not a cat with a pouch. A cat in the pouch is an internet winner. Come back with one of those.

I think it's the equivalent of turgid, where fuzzy things are involved.

You can get a sweatshirt to simulate that.

If you're lucky, the kitty will knead its claws into your belly and then throw up in the pouch for the complete cat experience.

Since it's 50+ I would have guessed flaccid.

I love that stuff with pecans, both available at Costco. :thumb:
