Just kidding.

You know, I'm not a touring cyclist at all, but if I were touring I think I would opt for paper maps as well. I don't know why, exactly.

All this talk about maps. I have never used a map on a ride.

Of course you have.

Maps are cool.

Spain is such a beautiful country. I'd actually love to live there.

Where in Andalucía did you go?

Same as it ever was.

lotza nice back roads around here. 129.57 miles on Sunday. I find the best riding is Sunday afternoon or Sunday night. No one is in a hurry, most are staying home too.

OK no more bike talk.

:)

Maps are for people who know where they want to end up.

Just two.

Not the foam kind. Just the slippery ones.

The best way is to get a nice decaleur bag with clear map flap.

Did Benson do this when you came home from the hospital?

I didn't lose any weight.

Had a FANTASTIC trip. Flew into Malaga, then train rides to Seville, Córdoba, and Granada. Spent 2-3 days in each city. Best trip ever.

Nice bag, but I was thinking a giant paper clip etc. for my purposes.

So cool! I really love Spanish history and culture. Those cities are real jewels--especially Granada, with its Alhambra Palace. Well, I hope you enjoy Barcelona just as much.

Plenty of room in the decaleur for Spanish century food, too! :)

Will also hold nearly all of the food you'll need for a century.

He will. I did the "southern coast" tour (Malaga, Gibraltar, Granada, Jerez, Ronda, Cadiz, Sevilla) and also spent a week in Barcelona during a later trip. Barcelona was/is the coolest city I've ever been, even after all these years. It's also a foodie city. Love everything about it.

@datlas make sure you go to Parc Guell and take some pics for us. Also climb the spires in the Sagrada Familia, my friend had a panic attack because of the narrow steps and confined space but the view was worth it :thumb:

Gracias. Not going until mid June. Did not bike in Andalusia but plan to do some riding this time. Agree Spain is gorgeous, and pace of life much more civilized than here.
