Finally a pic of a real sports car, actually being designed for somebody to get himself maimed for life.

I hate the NFL draft, "mock drafts", paid ESPN analysts who spend all year making projections about the draft and have stupid haircuts, and so on. Even as a football fan I can't stand all the hand-wringing and overblown coverage that this gets every year.

I think the Ferrari pictured is a 488 cabriolet actually. The 488 coupe is the most beautiful sports car design I've ever seen. AND the car is about as fast as modern sports cars get, VERY fast on a track, right up there with the Z06 and the Porsche 918. Those last two cars lapped Northern Virginia Raceway (Car & Driver) in about 2:45, the C7 Stingray turned a 2:53.8, a Grand Sport (my car's motor in a Z06 chassis, suspension/wheels tires) did a 2:47 or so. Anything under 3 minutes on that track is fast, anything under 2:55 very fast, under 2:50- fastest production cars you can buy.

Try living with the snarled traffic four blocks from your house. I will driving somewhere for the day Sunday. Not sure how I am going to get back home because the street closures will cause backups on highways and roads that I would normally take to get to my house.

Thanks for the intel. I will keep that in mind if the 19 year old Saturn ever dies. Not likely.

Agree with advice above. Don't talk about french shower action even if you see it. |

We've submitted enough deals to have our bonus hit some kind of a multiplier.. but now they're playing a game with saying that they're not sure it'll go through our leasing bank in a timely enough manner to meet end of month. Redaction's on verbals are not a good practice - especially when it's with people's money... rut rohhhh.:crash:

Yup. And on top of it, it's usually a few years until you can really tell whether or not the draft was a success.

That's some bull****. You don't dangle a carrot in front of your sales team and then yank it away. That's a good way to find yourself in need of a new sales team.
I'm waiting to see how it plays out.. they've got a few days left and we'll see how it's reflected on the direct deposit. This would be the first time I'd pull the father tone of "I'm not mad, I'm just disappointed." :innocent: |

I give Datlas a lot of ribbing over his Saturn but the other day, a guy showed up on one of our rides driving a Saturn SUV. So, I ask the guy what he does for a living and he says he's a dentist. Totally blew my mind as I thought they had all of the nice toys. BTW, his bike was a POS, too.

Unless you're the cowboys and have a genius at the helm (of the draft/scouting program). We were going to have a complete crap year last year and our draft was so good we got 13 wins out of it.

If, you like the Addiction thread as it is, then don't bring outside drama from other threads into Addiction, plain and simple. It's like a Vampire at your door. If you don't invite him in, he can't cause trouble. But if you give him an invitation, then that trouble is all your responsibility. Billy can't do anything special to bail you out. |
