If you post it over in C & V, they'll be happy to tell you your bar tape is the wrong color, or a different saddle would be better, gumwalls don't do it, or........

Like a fancy cruise, but without the nausea.

rpenmanparker 05-04-17 05:16 PM

Seriously, in Houston they advertise the all-inclusive resorts constantly on TV. Sandals, Atlantis, etc.

This is extremely plausible.

And without the claustrophobia of being on a giant swaying hulk surrounded by bumbling American tortoises.

I almost forgot the swim-up bar! Just went looking through photos.

Medical profession wages can be screwy.

In Syracuse, my wife was working as an NP, 5 10 hr days per week (not counting 25 minute commutes each way), and she would usually have to spend 6-10 hours each weekend charting. She made a good wage, but was worked ragged.

We moved to Bingotown, 100 miles south, for me to take a largely lateral job, figuring she can find work here for comparable pay. After a brief search, she finds NP work 4 minutes from our house, 3 12 hour days per week, charting time during the day, for a $30k annual raise. She turned down an offer for $50k more because it would have been a 40 minute commute. Providers are so much more scarce here, that we stumbled in to significant upside.

Have we talked about the Browns yet today?

I was having knee surgery years ago and the Specialists PA referred me back to my GP to sign off on my EKG because I have a benign arrhythmia. My doctor threw a fit. He said the PA made more money than he did and if she couldn't sign off on my EKG then she shouldn't be practicing medicine.

I know, really. The tape, saddle and pedals are modern. I did enquire about attending a C&V rally one time and was told that was fine; they weren't that strict but Heaven Forbid you post a pic on the forum.

BTW, I sold the Brooks saddle, removed the cloth tape and refuse to go back to toe clips. They can bite me. :D

We're headed to an AI. We've been to several in that area and got married at one of original Iberostars with 40 friends and family. It was a blast.

We could but there really isn't much to talk about.

Understandable. It kinda pisses me off that the specialist's PA makes more than I do with much less training, but that's reality.

You know that nurse anesthetists often make 200k, that's a LOT more than most primary care docs.

Cyclist died coming down Sunshine this afternoon. I fear this summer is going to be one of the worst Boulder has seen for this stuff. Too many people, too many cyclists. And construction continues.

Don't they typically shoulder a lot of liability risk, though? I seem to recall that they were more likely to be the target of $$$$ lawsuits.
