That system is epically fooked. Like I finally got to my cart and it shows everyone else's socks they're trying to add. No, I didn't put $1200 worth of ENVE socks in my cart...

If you borrow enough to go to med school you are nowadays looking at 250K+ debt. Some of the fancier specialists make 300K/year so you can pay that off, but the low paying jobs (internal medicine, family practice, pediatrics, psychiatry) often will pay 80-100K/year so it does not make sense to go into those fields anymore. Everyone wants to do dermatology/ophthalmology/orthopaedics because that's where the dollars are.

So unless things change, your new primary care doctor will be a nurse or a PA. Actually, the NPs and PAs who work for the high-paid specialties make more money than a physician in primary care, sometimes. WTF?

How is that possible? No way chemists make more than any kind of physician. Even these days. Are you sure your employer isn't screwing with you?

Stand outside with a bunch of musette bags, hand them up to those who stick their arms out?

Wave?

People hate on all inclusive resorts for some reason, but they're some of the best BANG FOR BUCK in vacations available.

So what is an all-inclusive vs a non?

What do chemists make? Lots of physicians are making just above or just below 100K these days. The specialists make a lot more, but the generalists don't.

So an all inclusive package usually means everything for food/drinks and certain services at a given resort are included in the daily rate you pay. For our honeymoon in Punta Cana that meant we had 3 or 4 places to choose from for breakfast, same for lunch, and I think 7 options for dinner.

Just walk in, point at whatever on the menu, get 2 entrees if you want, drink as much wine as you want, and leave with no check. Same for drinks, our place had top shelf liquor or beer or wine included. "Good" wine was not included, so you'd have to pay for that separately if you wanted it with dinner. We had an adults only pool, room service, a bartender who essentially followed us around, etc. We did tip generously.

Non-inclusive packages are just like staying at a hotel. Pay for the room, pay separately as you go for drinks and meals.

If you don't eat much or don't drink, it's maybe not a good deal. On the honeymoon, we got our money's worth and then some. :innocent:

I'm thinking tacks on the road and a tube stand for $25/tube. :innocent:

Google says chemists make 75K on average, I would say that the average primary care doc makes more than that, see above.

Sorry, I was talking about REAL chemists. The median salary for Ph.D. chemists according to Google was $98,000 in 2010. Allowing for a minimal 2% per year increase, that would be 112.5 about now. And that would be just for inflation.

Nope, just a short one. ;)

Actually aren't you a bit misguided here? Don't you want to be filled by the least amount of food hopefully with the lowest caloric content. Eating a lot, because what you are eating isn't filling doesn't sound like a recipe for weight control.
