Westchester? No problem, be there in a few. :thumb:

I'll pick up some baklava on my way down, but I'll accept the balaclava prize for Vol. :D

Luckily, work is NOT blocking the live feed of the Giro. The Spanish one is the best. Es buen practica tambien.

Just sign up for a VPN service, and then tunnel past the filters.

Don't do that - it's a slippery slope one you tip past 140lbs.

I won't need it for a few months.

You don't think it's going to dip in to the 50s any time soon?

I am in trouble. I think I am up to about 143. But will ride hard tomorrow and burn off the baklava.

I'll wait for it to warm up.

Uh oh. I hope you didn't give away that Maglia Rosa jersey just yet. ;)

It's here. Looking for a good home. It would take a lot of baklava to get me into it!

Just back from the used car dealer. Mrs datlas is a tough negotiator. We ended up walking away from their best offer. I find the whole haggling thing very unpleasant so I keep my mouth shut.

My efforts to recruit someone to this thread have not succeeded. :(

More people need to do this.

Saturn dealers were like that, right?

That is why I lease. The whole deal is advertised by the manufacturer and is fixed. It is always very attractive.

I sold cars in college for a summer, and I hate it too.

So, I sent wife and kids to carmax to pick out the kids' car, and I went for a bike ride instead.

They came home with a 2015 v6 mustang and I don't know or want to know the details.

I was in Albg once. It looked just like this.
On further inspection, I have to say full suspension bikes have come a long way since the days when men were men.

Took it to the shop for some minor work, and since I cleaned it, we noticed a crack in the seat stay :(

I tried to lighten the mood around here, and what do I get for it? Now my bike has cancer.

Still riding today.

Yes Saturn was a fixed, no haggle price. Obviously you can see how that worked out for them.

My wife grew up in a country/culture where bargaining was standard. She talked them down to what I thought was a very good offer, but they did not drop it low enough for her, so we walked away. Sigh.

Another attempt to lighten the mood around here:

Wife's new Sigma Art 85mm lens. Yeah, it's pretty sharp.

Third of 8 in my TT today. PRed it by a minute. Power PR on the course.

Raced really well, haven't looked at the data yet (still driving home) but I'll be happy with it.

First time I've managed to stay in aero the entire time on this course (there's some scary bits where you really are tempted to cover your brakes).

First place to my Nemesis, very well done for her as usual. Second place went to a woman 18 years my junior. I nicked the woman in 4th place by 5 seconds. :) :) :)

This was the final race in the SoCal TT Series. Nemesis won for the 5th straight year. I came in second again just like last year. I think it was Nemesis 40 points, me 33 points, next woman back was something like 4 points.

Feeling good going into the State TT next week. My coach is brilliant. :D
