I would kill for a Wyoming winter right now!!!

Even just Wyoming right now would be nice. High 74, low 50. That's the weather of the gods right there!

IDK, but with that last comment calling culvers average at best they're clearly not really from Wisconsin.

That's awfully nice weather, yes, but that's not at all what you had in January. I wish I would never need a long-sleeve shirt again.

As they say, the grass is always greener...

Well, except in phx.
Say hi to my family.

-15° with a 20mph breeze sounds like the best thing ever right now.

I used to have a shirt, I think from Hollister, that was bright red with an outline of Arizona with a cow skull and the words "Arizona - it's not that hot". Got a kick out of wearing it at masters' nationals in Phoenix or Mesa or Scottsdale or wherever it was.

Everyone always brags about their cold tolerance. I like heat.

That's not political, is it?

When I left to go to the airport, my phone put me on 12th street to Brosville and I thought I was on a mountain pass for a minute there. I don't think I'd survive on a bicycle in some parts of the country.

I also drove through the north eastern part of West Virginia. Just a genuinely beautiful area all around. I always thought I hated Texas weather, but now I realize that I hate the weather AND the geography.

Brosville strava segment: https://www.strava.com/segments/2539717

I mean crap, the KOM is 10 mph avg for .4 miles.

Wee little ride today, just shaking the legs out. Then nice waffle brunch. Now we are lying around digesting.

View from the road, looking back into Isthmus Cove, where we are anchored. Lovely place, just worlds away from the bustle of LA. Yet only 30 miles...

Mr H met us after our ride without shower stuff. Doglet now gets off the shore boat and just heads on her own up to say Hai to the Harbormaster. :)

I think I found a used riding mower. For the wife, of course. Anybody know anything about 20 year old John Deere mowers?

Is lawmowerforums.com a thing? I suspect if it was maintained well it is fine. If not, beware. How does it run? If you need to replace the front axle on it, I can give you some tips as I just did that for my 16 year old tractor (not a John Deere, but probably same process).

Ad says it runs good. I have no idea how i'd verify that, though. I need some pre purch inspection tips, a la topslop1 with cell phones.

Do they know to strava their lawnmowing? Do they know which lawn tractor is bulletproof?? And is the 360 degree turning lawmower like the disc brakes of bikes? Or the electronic shifting?
