Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

You already know you have problems with colors. Especially the warm colors. Accept it or fix it.

We had a nice mix of terrain: well marked track through beech forest, no track up tussock and rocks to the summit, a scree run to drop down to a saddle and a nice river to follow out.
six hours of walking and 1,000m climbed (and descended). I'm now nicely tired.

Aftermath

Looks like I might lose three pine trees in my backyard. I shoveled my driveway for an hour and a half and I am pretty tired. I guess we got about 8 or 9 inches in total. after I took the picture last night we got another inch or so which covered up with some of the tracks I made. Nap time soon.

Note correct picture position.

Oh? I'm sorry, if you're going to take pictures you have to learn how to share them. Rotating a picture is as elementary as it gets.

We'll see how the weather does. The sun is out today and I might even get to start a ride in the mid-50's.
My phone tells me it's 72A out there, but I don't believe it. I still have the Carrharrt on and two layers of blankets. I have become a cold weather wuss. It remains overcast and windy. Oh, I also still have my wool socks on. No Christmas parties for us, though Mrs. Seeds is going to the movies this afternoon.
Frankly we don't celebrate Christmas anymore; haven't for years.

I said please. I post using phone or iPad so maybe the functionality is not the same as pc. I also have to reduce the size of the picture to get it to upload. But I don't use a third party host so I should get credit for that - no?

I will try harder next time. I am taking my dongle to bed for a nap.

If I do that I will have an ice skating rink in my driveway when it gets down to the twenties tonight.
that's kind of like posting a picture sideways on BF which is half-assed and I don't play that way.
