I was perusing the banned users thread from 10 years ago. Not only were there a lot of permabans, but it seemed as though just anybody could jump in and ban someone.

@datlas, under what circumstances would someone need to get iron injections?

Maybe. Everyone has their own version of reality, but I believe there was a suggestion that he was using his wife's account. It was not pleasant from what I recall. There were hurt feelings all around. Sad!

Of course! What was I thinking?. I only have dogs around to distract me, so I'll just stick with round spokes.

No, the fact that you got a base layer.
But it strikes me as so strange how many people on BF spend a lot of time/energy concerning themselves with what other people are thinking. What should I wear? Why didn't the other guy wave? He passed me so he must think he's better than me! And so on. I get it if you're 13 years old and in junior high. But once you're a fully formed adult, I'm confused as to why you would not just do you thing and be content with it.

Isn't that why we flex the entire wheel, occasionally, during the build? To allow those wind-ups to undo themselves? It's been awhile, but I've got a set planned as soon as I find rims.

There was someone maybe last summer who had a meltdown when he was called on his aggressiveness in threads, so as a logical response he started a thread that basically blasted all the mods with choice expletives and included a bunch of extremely NSFW photos. The thread didn't last long, but the ban was permanent.

In vaguely A&S-related news, it occurred to me today that an old collegiate teammate of mine is now the chief of staff for our state's first lady. Certainly not a bad thing to have an avid cyclist in the governor's ear.

"I'm thinking of buying an Acme frame. Should I pull the trigger?"
"Did it!"
"n+1!"
"Post pictures!"
The discussion has very little to do with product critique, and very much to do with affirming the inclination of the OP.
I'm thinking about sucking on some raw Fe.
