The irony is this is NOT my friend’s nicest car. He has an orange Mclaren convertible that is approaching super car status, or so I am told.
I enjoy telling him his car is nice, but it’s no Saturn.

My running theory is that little dogs are ******g maniacs because owners let them get away with **** because they're small and they think that the impotent fury is somewhere between amusing and harmless; that all feeds in to a toilet bowl swirl of megalomania and you've eventually got a figurative rabid dog on your hands (damn it, I told myself I'd avoid P&R topics).
And while a lot of people are very dumb, most at least have the sense to understand that bigger dogs can be dangerous if completely unchecked, and will at least make some kind of effort to correct them.
IOW, it all comes back to the owners.

Many people who own small dogs don't do this and the dog ends up thinking they have to be The Boss. So, when they bark or snarl at other people, instead of saying, "NO!" in the command voice, the owners try to reassure them using the praising voice - which just reinforces the behavior. In fact Mrs. GeneJockey has a tendency to do this with our little dog, Dory, which I keep trying to break her of. She bought a bunch of puppy books, but I swear she never reads them, and tries to substitute HUMAN psychology for DOG psychology in dealing with Dory.
Fortunately, Dory is not one of those fearless terrier types, nor is she a quivering fear-aggressive Chihuahua type. Could be growing up with a Greyhound who's the size of a city bus by comparison!

I think that's only partially true. Many of these smaller breeds were bred to be hunters and seek out rats, rabbits and other nuisance critters. They were bred for the killer instinct. A 12 inch Jack Russel is a fearless killer. I've seen Daschunds ranked as the No. 1 most aggressive dog breed . . . I think Heathpack still hasn't completely forgiven me for mentioning that here once before.

8 hour print. This one though is too tall, so #2 is currently printing. It will be 2cm shorter. I’m trying to find a way to shorten the first one to make it work.
I really like the Taycan. I wish they did it with the 3L TT and shaved 1500 pounds from it. But, I’d take one in a heartbeat, just too expensive. I also like the current Panamera, and considered a 4S when I bought my current car in mid-19. It was about $25k over budget.
And, IMO, you have to get those wheels if you get a Taycan.

Sure, some small sporting breeds have instincts that can compound the issue, but it still comes back to the owners, when it comes to aggression towards people, at least. As opposed to some larger breeds, I'm not aware of any smaller breeds that have been bred with aggression towards humans as a desirable trait (this is actually similar to pitbulls - they were bred with dog-aggression but those that showed aggression towards human handlers were, uh.. culled).

Also, don't you know that Seasuckers are just an accident waiting to happen?!?! Then again, we're talking about Ti, so if the bike would have flown off, the bike would have been fine but the road would have been wrecked.

I have admired them from afar for years. But only from afar. I don't have the money or driving skills.

We had a Golden Retriever, the most friendly, anxious-to-please of dogs. During his adolescence, he was like all adolescent dogs - aggressive, nippy, etc. My wife (who'd never had a puppy before) called me one day in tears - "It's like he's POSSESSED!!!" I was able to calm her down by pointing out all puppies go through this. To get him past this, I had to be very firm with him. Once he KNEW who was The Boss, he settled down A LOT, because there was order in the world, and he didn't have to be The Boss.
The 3D printer took 8 hours to print that piece.
As for the Taycan, I’d like to be able to get the gas engine in it instead of the electric. It’s a big performer as is, but I’d like to see what it could do it it weighed 1500 pounds less.

I'm not liking the weather, 30°, cloudy and windy, but I need to get out for at least a little ride. I went back on my calorie count a few days ago, so of course the wife decides to pick up a farmer's market double-crust caramel apple pie and bake Christmas cookies with the kids this weekend.
