welp, in the ER since friday’s mellow ride.
i am looking forward to getting back on the bike someday, and it’s been great getting into a new community, but when i get home next week after some procedures i’m going to sell the road bikes. having them around is too tempting and too frustrating to see and not be able to use.
if i end up getting a transplant, i’ll definitely be riding … A LOT. so maybe i’ll be back on this thread in a few years. thanks for the hospitality and don’t let bam buy too many more bikes![Smilie](https://www.bikeforums.net/images/smilies/smile.gif)

Did a 50 mile gravel/mud road ride Saturday. Was ok, lots of climbing, good company. The Dirty Trek did ok but a few issues showed up. So I did a bit of a refit on Sunday morning. New bars to correct a reach issue. Which led to new cables and, since it's 10 speed it got my Force shifters and new bar tape. Gotta find time to test ride it now..

It can get stupid in a hurry. I got a pretty decent rate at my veterinarian's place for an upcoming trip.

We were driving to Austin for a weekend a while back, and as we were driving the kennel called my wife to tell her that the "Presidential Suite" had become available. They wanted to know if we would like to move Ella to it. Fortunately, the call came through on the car speakers, and my reaction was, "WTF? We don't even stay in the Presidential Suites!" The call ended pretty quickly.
