In the Anaconda, MT area I have twice ridden a road called Crackerville. I still smile when I think of it.

I stopped into a Cracker Barrel near T-Town over 20 years ago before the fall swap meet and ride to Hawk Mountain. It was so crowded that we left. But I can still remember the smell of the holiday-related items in the gift shop.

Rode the bike trail from Cape May Courthouse and then picked up roads into the town of Cape May. Pretty tiring. The trail is somewhat annoying thanks to the 8 million road and driveway crossings. And I had a bit of a breeze in my face going south, and I started out too fast.
Cape May was pretty darn crowded for late October, thanks to the weather.
The biggest SNAFU was that a crucial piece of the stove I brought was missing, rendering it useless, which means I could not make coffee in the morning on cook dinner on Friday like I had planned. I was hoping it had fallen off in the house when I rearranged gear in my storage bin, but I could not find it when I got home yesterday. I am now thinking it fell off when I quickly stowed stuff in the dark up in Jim Thorpe, when an unexpected rain event happened at 5:15 am. I might have a replacement part in the basement. I really don't feel like shelling out $35 for a repair kit just to get one part.

Our deck rotted through a few years ago so we got a new one made from composite. It looks great. Of course it's $$$$$.

if I can’t salvage the deck, I’ll probably have our pool builder pour a patio when they put our pool in next spring or build one out of pavers myself

we have a decent number of police on bikes. they're trek hybrid bikes that look only lightly modified from stock. if the police here actually cited people for traffic and related digressions, the bikes would be super useful in doing so, you can pretty much get around faster on a bike than a car.
I see bikes may be faster than foot or car for some parts of downtown, but there's only so much you can do with them.

anybody have the climber for wahoo? Is it worth it? Does it work with quick release or only through axles? Wife wants to know what I want for my Birthmas.
Was thinking that is a possibility especially if I want to get serious about my training.
A. Wahoo tower climber thing
B. Wheelset and tires for the checkpoint. Could use suggestions 500.00 is the price for the wheels
C. Carbon bars, tires and tapes
D. Stages power meter grx for the checkpoint and ritchey aluminum bars.

That's a road I would avoid.

I've had decks at four houses and I hate staining and maintaining them so at our current house, we had the deck ripped off and replaced with a stone patio. It's 4' off the ground and steps down to a similar patio about a foot off of the ground.
