They're 1820g and the rims are literally just an aluminium rim with a carbon fairing glued on. Not a bad choice for the flats or rollies, but don't think they're anywhere near Zipps just coz they have a bit of carbon.

I have seen a few chaps race on them. Heavy, aero and pretty strong I have been led to belive. They are an alloy rim with a carbon fairing so your brake pads don't need changing. I have seen a few older guys riding with them on all the time around the Eastern Subs club rides, never really on the faster training rides. I wonder how stiff they are? $1350 ODD is pretty cheap, I had a pair in my hand 2 years ago in the USA that were around 1700 US.

The legends ride sounds awesome, but we couldn't convice all of our group to do it.

My wife gave me crap for not doing it last year, so it looks like I'm going to have to.

Might go the full idiot and do it on a 29er singlespeed. I need some motivation.
