Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Nothing. Just reciprocate sometime. Could buy a new cutoff wheel though. If you do, get a good one. Or, Starbucks card or the like.

WTH. When I was doing home testing I only needed a drop of blood from a finger prick.

Now I have to go back. I had better not get billed for that .

3-4 times a week. I’m trying to unbuild my body fat cell by fat cell. I got too fat for this sport over the winter.

Did two sets of 22 pushups last night. That's all I've got in me, currently.

Even though I was putting out in excess of 300 watts, the guy closed me down and passed - on a damn e-bike. I learned me lesson there, once and for all.
I was watching my HR with interest. My HR zones have changed in the last couple years - lower HR for the same power output and RPE - and I no longer knew what my Aerobic Threshold was. So I kept pushing till I had to pant - 161bpm, about 3 bpm lower than it used to be.

No idea what my MaxHR is anymore. I don't feel like looking for that. The two times I've hit MaxHR, I felt bleah for a day, and I was 25 years younger.

I have to memorialize this, because it'll probably never happen again!

You mean, one that isn't a high school gym?
