Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

How do you like the ride? Those seatstays do the trick, don't they?

I've seen a lot of bike porn for my age, and this bike is now officially my dream bike. PM me in a couple of years if you get tired of it, i am in love

Are these pics loading for everyone? My browser is only showing two pics on the entire first page (RonH, and Khoun's).

since the original pages are pretty old, the images have probably been removed from where they were stored. don't worry, plenty of others here too drool over

I bought it new about 5 months ago and is obviously being riden and worked on everyday. Of course next to all these Cannondale's and Li-Speeds I feel pretty poor. But I wanted a bike that I could get decent road and toepath usage for possible 2-5 day tours. Though I must say, i love the ride.

Ricky,
Where did you scrounge up a nice Peugeot?
Doesn't look like a 1 speed, where are the shifters?
Nice bike.

Nice bike.
The shifters are the black levers on the downtube, just above the name "Peugeot".

(oh wow, I feel old now, being able to spot downtube shifters.. )

those aren't stickers and that's an easton post, maybe an EA70. Mavic Ksyrium SLs have logos that are actually painted on and difficult to remove.

This is my girlfriend's ride, she wants to know what you all think. I built it from the ground up for her so I could bribe her to come riding with me, and it turns out she's a natural! (P.S. she looks great in lycra) I love watching her drop OCP carbon guys on steep hills. Anyway, here's the breakdown:
DA 7700 shifters
DA7800 deraillers
Easton SLX fork
Ritchey WCS post
Blackwell Research OS 90mm stem
no name OS wing bars
Topolino AC29 w/ Schwalbe Stelvio, etc.

Sorry for the blabbing but she's very proud of it.

Nice Ciocc! It looks either brand new or obsessively cleaned. Which is it?

brand-spankin new! in that pic it only had maybe 2km on it - i've put about 160km on it since.

although i have to admit it gets cleaned and dried after every ride so far (only had it for a week or so)...

Nice bike.
I bought it off of Craigs list from a guy who lived about an hour away for $100. He couldn't ride it well because he's a good 6'4'' and it was starting to bother him enough to the point that he sold it to me and it fits me perfectly.

In response to the seat angle comments I just threw that seat on right before I took the picture, so it's adjusted now, I never rode it in that construed position.
