Close...You have the car and kit reversed. ;) (fresh out of high heeled models too though)

Fake Carbon lugs are like brake vents on a honda civic.

what is fake about those lugs? the tubeset and lugs are molded separately and then the two are bonded together.

I don't think so, it's what makes the frame, it's custom carbon!...Indy Fab is one of the most respected custom frame builders. If I remember right, the Corvid won the bike of the year honors at the 2009 American Handmade Bicycle Show. For that it gets engineering hotness points that supersede all others. :)

Lugs are part of custom carbon frames...Calfee too. http://www.calfeedesign.com/products/dragonfly/

The 6.7s are hot.

Is that an 80mm stem?

3kmi 12-23-11 02:45 PM

Now I know you don't claim to own the bike, but I remember that being posted on WW by cippoforlife as a shop demo bike.

You are correct. I should have said UNNEEDED. Just because the lugs are technically functional, it doesn't make them useful.

He seems awfully possessive though.

Maybe they sold it?

3kmi 12-23-11 04:03 PM

its possible, but the pictures and build are identical to the ones in the WW thread, 80mm stem and all

Maybe he bought it? I don't see how that is not possible.

This bike is so light, nothing is needed to hold it upright.

Everything thing needs love. In fact it's all you need. Ask John Lennon.

Up for consideration: my ole Felt F5. Just picked up the saddle and seat post... (My home does not have a Garage, some day I will borrow one)

Who says that's my house? (it's not)

You'd think a little artistic juxtaposition would be welcomed around here to break up the monotony...

This thread used to be good...<sigh>

That Moots ties together the muted duo-tone scheme in basically the same way as almost every other one you see. The photo is also well done and you prefaced this one beautifully, "Another Moots, I know...." We all know. As far as the "ole F5" and the irrelevant Cannondale, I hardly noticed them either. But not in the pleasantly commonplace way of the Moots.

I suggest a compress to bring it to the surface and a round of antibiotics along with this cream. (you have to draw out the bad element before it will heal)
