Is this the look that I don't own?

This is my S2 - i've since switched to Vincero bottle cages and made some adjustments to the fit.

JSS watching from a distance just wanted to make a comment, hard to defend against the post from WW especially since this frame color and the one you originally posted are different. Just saying.

Point taken, I had no idea where the picture came from, my son downloaded it to show me what bike he wanted, I should have been more specific. The red color is last years model, It will have the same Mavic wheels but Di2 Ultegra instead of campy. I should have waited to post until his bike was done.

Point is that I actually own the Bikes UCIMZ does not

Because he obviously has some serious self esteem issues as can be seen by most of his posts in this thread.

now that ownership has been established... not hot.

that humpback top tube is just too odd looking and it's obviously been half-assed fitted for a rider too small for the frame.

Well the fit is a result of fashion. In order to look cool today you have to have a drop of at least six inches and todays frame geometry caters to that look. At 53 that just isn't doing it for me. So the choice was to buy a medium frame and have six inches of head spacers (and how dorky would that look?) or buy a large frame a move the seat forward. The fit is fine. I did a 100km ride on Sunday with no complaints. I may not look as cool as you, but at my age, my only goal is to avoid being dropped when we are doing 300km at 30kph.

King. Nice bike. Let the haters hate and wonder and cry why they can't afford what you have. When people get any more jealous they start posting their motorcycles as if that has ANYTHING to do with ANYTHING. Just read through this thread and you can figure out who is worth even paying attention too. These ass-hats all ride the same frames as anyone else. They really hate it if somebody is competition to their ego. Welcome to the BF king even though it may seem that your not welcomed here in Hot or Not, which is a joke considering the people who are judging.

King Sorry I pulled you in to this thread (Do I get a commission for finding a new member?), just wanted to show what I had just bought, should have waited to post the actual bike.

I think the bike looks great!

Andy_K 03-02-12 01:49 PM

All the bikes in this thread are starting to look alike. Carbon wheels...blah, blah, blah...red and black...blah, blah, blah.

This thread needs more contrast.

Do you think the salmon brake pads work with my blue and white paint scheme?

I'm thinking of upgrading to a single ring XTR crankset.

It's a cool frame with a lot of nice parts, but I would have bought a size smaller as well. Spacers would look way less 'dorky' than the current setup. Not that the appearance is really relevant, but the smaller bike would handle much nicer and lend itself better to out of the saddle efforts.

I unfortunately have experience with the issue, as I saddled myself with too large bikes for years and I still have one. Every time I switch to it from my sporty bike, I have to shake my head and wonder why...though I've currently built it into something of a light touring bike and the larger size actually suits that purpose.

I give it a not, for those reasons.

Irony. you've been in this thread for as long as I can remember worrying about others. You probably take this thread more seriously than everyone in here. Again, ironically.

In the end, he still posted someone else's bike claiming it was his when he constantly accuses ucimbz of doing it.

As I said, I just happen to have a stash of pictures of hot bikes all taken in front of the same wall. But please do the Parlee when ever you get a chance.

This thread kinda makes me laugh, just saying...

Who cares who owns what, I just like seeing hot bikes but don't really give a darn about it, I guarantee I have the hottest legs ;)

I don't see how the fit can be fine. if you ran a plumb line from your knee when your pedals are at 3 and 9 you'll see there's a problem when you seat is slammed like that. Handlebar position seems fine, but the hoods look odd pushed so far back, I assume that's because the bike doesn't fit you. How do you access them from the drops? Nothing personal, this thread is 100% about aesthetics and in it's current setup, it's just not doing it for me.

I assume you're grouping me in here... I have a 2012 Argon 18 Gallium, 2010 Argon 18 Gallium Pro (frame out for repair), 2008 Colnago CLX and a 2010 Felt AR4. None of which are very common frames on the road or here on BF. This thread is hot or not, not hot or keep your opinion to yourself. beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Lets see a pic of his wife... maybe that's something I'll be jealous about. :)
