How far is Mt. Hood in that picture?

I'd have to ride to it. Like Frodo needed to go to Mt. Moria.

About 90 miles. Highway miles.

^^ Hot :thumb:

But would be hotter without valve caps, and crimp some cable ends on before they get frayed!

Cable ends are heat shrunk ;-)

Theres something about the clear valve caps that I really like, lol. And I'm a valve cap hater haha.

Interesting, never thought of doing that. But I'm a sucker for a sexy 3-pronged crimp. Especially if it's gold :D

The shadows on these pics may be a bit much but I am sure some of you may be able to appreciate what they are.

Wicked Hot.

Markus used to bring an XXL demo bike to Interbike every year. when he saw me coming, he always came over to ask for my thoughts.

VERY interesting. Generally I like a brighter bike, but this is fascinating - the balance of black and chrome is really great.

I understand the wire bottle cages in a way - had some on my steel bike, too - but was so disappointed with how easily they let bottles go flying out on bumpy descents, they just had to go. Other than that - all the other details - it's outstanding!

Hot. Love the look of that stem.

mercator 11-12-16 09:43 AM

Smokin' hot!
Is that a 1" head tube?

All 3 look great but really looking forward to seeing it all finished, going to look amazing no doubt :thumb:,

Lava hot potential!

Lots of fire on the last page, not going to quote them all, but the Ciocc, Sotrck, and those S works are all smokin' hot!

Finally a beautiful bike! It is not a case of Hot or Not, it is, but this is a stunner! Makes me feel like it is 1982 again!

Thank you. The idea is to build that one with Dura Ace Di2 R9170 and Enve 5.6 SES wheels. Not sure really because it will make my other VIAS redundant. Maybe if I sell the current one I have then I'll build this one up.

OK, need a Hot R Not critique. After putting my own Tri/TT bike together, I had enough parts to make another one. Or maybe I'm just a bike hoarder. In any case, I'm putting this one together to sell, likely will wind up listing on eBay.

I am not interested in making major $ upgrades to this bike, but if there are some low/no cost ways to move it toward greater hotness please do tell.

Not hot. Flip the stem. It's a TT bike after all.

Nice suggestion, and within the budget :)

Change the crank to something more "aero".

Not with the nose of the saddle tipped up.

Put some real aero wheels on this bike.
