It's got a stubby stem, but that Propel is hot.

Both extremely hot. IMO, the Emonda is about as unimpeachable as they come.

IMO, the Emonda is about as bland as they come. It's a nice bike, but not exciting.

Is part of that ass beating due to the fact that the front of your saddle is pointing at your front hub?

Not with the stem as is.

It was that, or have the hump numbing off lil Johnny Jr. That saddle is just not appropriate for the amount of drop in the build.

Changed it out for my white SLR Carbonio. White lizard skin tape enroute for tomorrow. That and titanium skewers will get the weight back down to 15.25, with the chromo pedals and plastic cages.

Cages and titanium pedals get it back to 15 flat... but dunno if I'll actually drop the cash for that.

Nice looking Giant.

The trek is just meh plain. Even fancy lights can't doll her up into something she aint.

Da Reef 04-12-17 09:23 PM

The Propel is hot.

Otherwise,, nice job!

Competing schools of thought on that. In the end it was placed lower to leave the paint detail as exposed as possible, with the SWorks going just above chainring height.

An outline Sworks left more paint detail which sounded better in theory. But it didn't pop, not at a distance, not in a pack, and really not even just parked somewhere. It just didn't actually work in practice. So we went with solid logos.

nothing really wrong with the Emonda, but nothing hot about its appearance.

The Giant is filthy hot. It's like a woman that would scratch all your records, ruin your credit, and leave you smiling.

Ahh, now I see it. The design behind the DT logo gets less busy the closer it is to the BB shell, so I can see how lowering the logo to the place where it is actually benefits the overall look. Nice job.

Also, I love green, so there's that.

love it! Definitely needs more matchy matchy tho. I'd like to see it with some dark bottle cages as yours don't really match the shade of white on the logos. Throw in some gumwalls and a gold chaaain for extra-measure, and to piss off the h8terz.

That Mr. Pink is HOT, although all steel bikes should have king cages.

md11pilot 04-16-17 08:50 AM

that one is def hot!!!! ^^^

dirtydozen 04-16-17 12:07 PM

Well i was going to say i wasn't a fan of the apple green bar tape and the bottlecages weren't as white as the s works' white and the saddly could be white

now its just perfect mate ! congratz

f4rrest 04-16-17 12:14 PM

Better without the off-green tape for sure.

Always a fan of the Propel, but could you do something about that bottle cage, please, so I can give it a Hot instead of a Not?

What's up with the cage? There's a matching color one from giant but I felt the white is a nice compliment. There's some white On the wheels.

White tape and saddle looks much better. I wish the S-Works logo was in the original spot, but that is a nit-pick.

If it had DA9000 it would be smoke show, but points were not taken away for the SRAM wiped all over it. ;)

get a matching colored one, or go with black/CF.

To be honest, I figure with a plain bottle full of water in it, it would look as good or better than any alternative, so it's a fine choice. But empty it's a distraction.

nycphotography----You don't have matching water bottles? I though you were a serious cyclist.

I think darker cages would look better, maybe dark blue - too much white there makes it distracting. But a sweet bike.
