It's got a stubby stem, but that Propel is hot.

Trek Emonda S5 (first pic doesnt have the fizik arione saddle and enve seatpost on it. Second does but you cant really see them anyway.) http://i.imgur.com/PEjhvB1.jpg Tried to get fancy http://i.imgur.com/YJbKy8m.jpg Giant Propel SL1 http://i.imgur.com/lzIT46p.jpg http://i.imgur.com/VgOg3Gq.jpg |

IMO, the Emonda is about as bland as they come. It's a nice bike, but not exciting.

Is part of that ass beating due to the fact that the front of your saddle is pointing at your front hub?
Changed it out for my white SLR Carbonio. White lizard skin tape enroute for tomorrow. That and titanium skewers will get the weight back down to 15.25, with the chromo pedals and plastic cages. Cages and titanium pedals get it back to 15 flat... but dunno if I'll actually drop the cash for that. |

Did you ask the painter to put the SWORKS that far down the downtube? It looks really wrong to my eyes.
Otherwise,, nice job! An outline Sworks left more paint detail which sounded better in theory. But it didn't pop, not at a distance, not in a pack, and really not even just parked somewhere. It just didn't actually work in practice. So we went with solid logos. |

Nice looking Giant.

Competing schools of thought on that. In the end it was placed lower to leave the paint detail as exposed as possible, with the SWorks going just above chainring height.

love it! Definitely needs more matchy matchy tho. I'd like to see it with some dark bottle cages as yours don't really match the shade of white on the logos. Throw in some gumwalls and a gold chaaain for extra-measure, and to piss off the h8terz. That Mr. Pink is HOT, although all steel bikes should have king cages. |
that one is def hot!!!! ^^^

Finished the details: SLR Carbonio saddle, SWorks bottle cages, White Lizard Skin bar tape.

Better without the off-green tape for sure.

Always a fan of the Propel, but could you do something about that bottle cage, please, so I can give it a Hot instead of a Not?

What's up with the cage? There's a matching color one from giant but I felt the white is a nice compliment. There's some white On the wheels.

To be honest, I figure with a plain bottle full of water in it, it would look as good or better than any alternative, so it's a fine choice. But empty it's a distraction.
