TTT was fantastic last nite. The highlight had to be Gabrielle Gate's [edit] salmon dish. I'm so glad I stayed up to watch the whole *yawn* thing

jock 07-05-05 04:59 PM

A coupla coasties made it down to Homebush last night. Worst night of the year with some religious thing on at the stadium. Morons everywhere.

(young) Lawrence somehow ended up riding in the C group when he should have been driving the A group. I bet there were plenty of grimaces each time he hit the front. :)

Hey Paul, why don't you bring your purty blue bike down tonite for puke... I mean sprint training instead of doing that silly MTB ride. :D

ed073 07-05-05 05:01 PM

Didn't feel like joining Hillsong, mate?? Think of all that money you could be spending on bikes going to the church instead.

:D

jock 07-05-05 05:13 PM

There were some christian lookin girls that I might have wanted to merge with, but not Hillsong. Now where did I put my latest Death Metal devil worship anthems CD?

hey hey, not bad !! I taped it, there was a crash at least, something to fast forward to tonight.

Thylacine 07-05-05 07:14 PM

I tried to stay up but failed dismally.

Pretty good pick by me though I gotta say, although without the crash CSC woulda stormed home I'm guessing, considering it was a 2 second margin.

Homebush on the roads (bring your blinkies). It's run by turramurra cyclery. 7:00pm at the train station carpark. Paceline + 800m leadout sprints. Very painful on a tough nite. http://www.turramurracyclery.com.au/...30&idb=Regular

As for Origin night, well there's always videotape :p

531Aussie 07-05-05 09:36 PM

Is Robbie McEwan on every morning on that breakfast show you watch?

ed073 07-05-05 09:40 PM

Dunno...maybe?

I'll look for the Robbie report tomorrow AM while I'm chomping on my Vita Brits

531Aussie 07-05-05 09:45 PM

I can't be bothered reading all the race reports.
I take it Zabriskie isn't badly injured?

Few stiches....bruised ribs, lost some bark, sleepless night. X-rays OK.

531Aussie 07-05-05 09:50 PM

thanks

ed073 07-05-05 09:55 PM

no worries......

hope he keeps doing his "1 question interviews". They are gold.

jock 07-05-05 10:02 PM

I wish MT would start practicing his zero question interview technique

I've said this before, but a few years ago he was doing daily radio reports for 3aw with
David Hookes and Gerald Healy, and every time they tried to crack a gag with Mikey, they
got a, "er....what?" response from him.

He was either too witless to get it, or took himself so seriously that his "h@rdcore" race reports
dare not be interupted with any "fun"

jock 07-05-05 10:10 PM

Used to be good for a bit of a giggle but he's taking himself far to seriously now. Those chats with Phil make me cringe. Phil too I expect.
