yeah, it also works better with Firefox if you have that. You do get the buttons to pause and play etc.

Racing pants, full finger gloves, full face helmet, long sleeve jersey. Pad set and number plate on bike, and a better set of tires. My shoes do look like old skool Vans. Actually, I may order some Old Skools from the states. Dark blue with the white stripe.

Really we are pathetic. Anything other than Big Brother or Aust. Idol is simply out of the question for many. I mean you'd have to leave the house to go see a bike race never mind enter one.
This year's BNSW BigRide attracted about 1500 riders and many of them were from out of state. The Victorians had 8000 at theirs.
Thank God they hold the Tour Down Under in Adelaide. It'd be a bloody embarrassing non event here in Sydney

Yes, cycling is done during one's free time, and there ain't much spare time in the go-getting schedule of the average inner city Sydney-ite

WOW! the thread is still alive and kicking. Hello from Amsterdam, a very interesting place. Plenty of bike riding going on over here, although not to sure how many of you would want one of the bikes they tend to ride over here though. They all look like old school girl bikes with very low cross bar and very upright seating and handle bars. Still they are dangerous enough on them, lost count of the number of times I have almost been bailed over by one of them. THey brake for no one, and all these damn dedicated cycle paths/roads right next to the foot path. It is safer to walk out onto the road. Must remember look right first not left, i think that would solve most of my problems.
Oh had a horse meat hot dog thing yesterday. Tasted funny but nice... interesting the things to see over here as well...

I was never meant to be a mountain biker. I finally get the motivation to go for a ride and what happens? I get the dreaded lurgey and ordered off the bike until it goes away.

And no Ed, no creeks were involved. It's some weird throat or bronchial infection. Nasty grey/green phlegm. You want some?

Nah mate.....I know it too well. Will usually strike:
-a day or two before a big race/tour
-after a flight
-when you've got super form/skinfolds right down
-3 or 4 times a year
I don't miss it.

Well I don't fly, I wouldn't call club championships a big race/tour, and I'd rather not talk about my skinfolds just now!
So it looks like it's the first of many
although I'm more inclined to believe that one of my germy little children donated it to me...
