Who can argue with this?

could be worse, just think if he was a trekie or a star wars fan. It'd be a storm trooper riding a cervelo'. He's doing fine, I dont wanna see him trying to be 7 of 9 on the slice either.

Hey Pcad, you got rid of / are getting rid of your Williams wheels, right? Why?

I'm trying to decide between a set of Williams 30s and Dura Ace 7850 CLs to replace a set of Ksyrium Elites that I killed.

Velo Vol 04-21-10 02:01 PM

What's with the spate of road cycling content in this thread?

heckler 04-21-10 04:05 PM

Pcad do you have a new picture of your position. I am no expert but I have heard that the goal is to not have your knees bashing your elbows in the way your picture dipicts.

I assume the longer stem helped?

No, I don't have a picture, yes the longer stem made a big difference.

I averaged 22.5 mph on my TT bike on an up and down course last Sunday. Slower even than that, if anyone here can even imagine such a thing.

patentcad 04-21-10 08:31 PM

35 miles today, 2+ hours, 4 successive two mile climbs, hard as I could go. Those hills take me 10+ minutes each.

Ouch.

I'm doing that workout again Friday. Re-ouch.

What's with lettin' this steaming pile slip to page 2? Y'all need to get on it.

Another important TT bike revelation today that I always seem to forget when it comes to bike buying time: my uncle owns a shop that's a trek/specialized dealer. So, the Transition and Speed Concept (depending on if the cost is okay...sounds like they stopped making the Equinox TTX) could be on the table here, in addition to the P2 and/or Felt. This is complicated.

patentcad 04-22-10 08:41 AM

TT bikes are a massive pain in the ass. But I've come to actually like mine.
