Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Bikes: Something Canadian, something Italian, something American, and something German

Who wants to party like it's 1999?

If I had kept on partying like it was 1979 I'd be dead.

None of you understand this thread's Deeper Meaning.

None of you are worthy of this thread and the Pcad Wisdom therein. You are a waste of my calories.

Happily for you idiots, wasting calories dovetails with my Current Agenda. Once I'm down to race weight you can all go eff yourselves.

Not sure I have even the slightest clue, but cycling and endorphins have helped me stay away from entirely too much of this.

My wife replaced it entirely with 4 or 5 marathons a year.

The lack of BF faith in Pcad is telling.

I'd say closer to 10,000 more posts.

speaking of weird bike sightings I aw my first high bike today (basically a frame welded on top of another frame. But this one was weirder than normal in that it had like a truck or bus steering wheel (and I assume some sort of rack and pinion system to make it work) basically parellel to the ground and was somehow a low rider with a banana seat as well. It was a very short man on it and the seat was abotu 6 feet in the air.

Wish I took a picture, but was beat and out of my mind after the race.

It was simlar to this but higher and more styling, but not...

I'd rather party like it's 1991 - it's that time...

There's something about the first day of summer that's bringing the crazies out.
That's funny. It reminds me of when we stayed at a campground in Florida that was part of a gated community. Everyone there had golf carts that were made into something. One guy had turned his into a giant lounge chair. I have no idea how he drove it, but it had no steering wheel.

iOS 4 now has spell check across all programs. I can now post from my iPhone without my poor spelling making me look like a moran.

Hey pCad, is it possible to like alcohol a whole lot and not be an alcoholic? I really like beer. Not cheap American or Canadian beer, but good micros. At times, I have around 30 different kinds of beer in my beer fridge. Is this a bad thing? I have so many beers at times, I can't remember which ones I like, so I have to keep trying them. Should I be concerned?

It's not the spelling mistakes that are making you look like a moron.
