I appreciate your enthusiasm, but I just think it's weird that you expect others to finance your racing. Stop posting on BF, get a job, and pay for your own racing. If you were winning p/1/2 races I could see getting paid to race, but not when you can barely finish a cat 5 race.

Being 50 has its compensations.
I've seen everything at least twice before.
And yet, I still make the same stupid friggin mistakes. Sigh. I'm such a moron.
I am in the right place.

All I know is that you could not pay me enough to be a kid again. One of the nice things about getting old is that you can look back at what an ******* you were back when you were a kid, and you will, believe me. Seeing that I have significantly reduced my level of *******ness, I have no desire to go back and repeat.

Think of all the bang for the buck you are missing out on. 99.999999% of the people around here haven't even heard of the company.

I was at R&A today. The bikes they have on display - amazing, like browsing the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders. Me, I walked out with a water bottle cage - yay. Took a moment to look at a pair of HED Ardennes. I would have really lusted after them if they hadn't been sitting next to Zipp 101s.

I found a slow, pinprick-type leak in the tube. I decided to patch it. The tube was still inflated from my leak discovery phase.
I thought, "Why not stick the patch on while the tube is inflated? If I stick it on now I'll get a better fit on the rounded surface than if I stick it on deflated and then re-inflate."
I thought The pressure in the tube was low enough, and the leak was slow enough, that it would work. But when I went to put it in the wheel I could already see the patch was bubbling out from the leak.
And now the tire has gone soft again.
Alas.
