Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

So I have two offers currently for my Trek Y33.

$175

or

7800 shifters.

I'm going to go for the latter should it go through.

Your TN is showing. I think you mean, "drank in a day."

Former hot dog speed-eating champion Takeru Kobayashi has been arrested at this year's event in New York....

Mr Kobayashi, the thin Japanese contender who smashed all previous US records in 2001, jumped a barrier and tried to get up on the stage while the crowd chanted: "Let him eat!"...

____________________________________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________

So let me get this straight. Even in eating, americans can't be world champions without keeping out foreign competition?

little correction

pavement = sidewalk. foot path isn't used as widely and tends to be for designated paths across countryside so you know you are not trespassing on land.
motorway = Freeway (maybe it is same as Highway). Basically the biggest roads
group ride=group ride

you might still see rear mech front mech meaning the gears. knickers...same as american in cycling but in general language knickers = panties.

Unless used in reference to the M25 in which case motorway= parking lot.

so true. i nearly wrote "fastest roads" but "biggest" is probably more accurate with parking lots like that.

A redcoat that rides with our group insists on wearing knickers under his kit. Is he Fredly or just British?

you mean knickers underwear and not knickers the mid length cycling legging? if so, he is simply a transvestite.

we do not judge.

The PBK eMail is somewhat more pleasant than "your order has shipped" albeit somewhat verbose.

"We would like to thank you for your recent order #XXXXXX and let you know your
goods have now been despatched from our warehouse and should be with you
shortly."

You should come to 'murika and buy a foot long hot dog out of a windmill. That will satisfy your hunger.

And your daily serving of cholesterol.
