Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Let me worry about the winter driving. I know something about that living at the top of a mile long hill with 18% grades and snowfalls like this:

Plus the Prius will be a third car. My RDX is the best friggin car in the snow I've ever driven, and I've owned a couple of dozen cars.

Another blowout quarter for AAPL, up $5+ in today's regular session and now another $10 or so per share in after hours trading.

Oh what a surprise.

There are few things in life you can count on.

One is total unadulterated, uncensored, BF deep throating of Cannondale. I'm all for product support and endorsement, but it's a freaking bike. Humping the top tube isn't necessary.

yesterday i went to a raw food restaurant and had some ice cream made of nuts. how weird is that? it tasted and felt just like regular ice cream. it was a funny flavour though. funny but tasty. Lavenda flavour.

i think that's why this evenings ride was super fast.

What kind of nuts? That doesn't sound like it would be any lower fat than dairy ice cream.

It's like they don't trust us to have a sensible mature discussion.

So is Addiction nearing its end? At some point, don't the mods pull the plug?

I'm easily confused, so someone enlighten me.

It won't last forever. Hopefully we can surpass the 33 Twitter Feed before the moderators destroy.

I really did get confused this evening. I did a quick ride just before it got dark and I was pushing the pace because the light was fading. I focused more on the pedal stroke rather than trying to push harder resulting in a nice increase in speed without too much extra effort. I passed 6 roadies who were trying to squeeze in a ride also. No one passed me. Yet my speed was no more than 1 mph higher than normal where I get passed all the time.

It felt faster than the stats.

Bring it. Close this thread. Ban me.

But ban coasting, Gomer and for God's sake the stupid Razor kid first so I can dance on their friggin BF Graves.

Oh noes. If they ban us we'll have to all get a life.
