jesus, do you really want to talk about that race? It was a points race that I was leading and you went away with another guy after I won a sprint and proceeded to lose the race. sigh, and yeah you look old as stink there. The yellow helmet hides your grey hair.
To raise your HDL level, avoid tobacco smoke, maintain a healthy weight and get at least 30–60 minutes of physical activity more days than not.

I just call it like it is.
I think at this time G is better looking than P, of course this should be expected given the age difference. My apples to apples (age to age) comparison is that they are pretty similar. I call it plain old white guy syndrome (POWGS). I am destined to reach that point someday
pcad in all his glory...with his hands on the tops, I hope you got yelled at

Good one.

I don't have it here in front of me. I think it was 36 mg/dL the last test several months ago. The previous time it was even lower.
My LDL number has always been fine, but the HDL needs help.

Well good luck on round 2. Glad to hear it was civil and all. (isodorah sounds like a keeper based on your previous comments and your collection of bike crap)

Actually it was a race where only like 18 people showed up for all the races so they combined them into one race. I was trying to bridge to a three man break and couldn't get a witness, so I went alone. Never caught them. You never caught me. I finished 4th, less than 100 meters in front of the field sprint. Trust me on this. I don't get into the top 5 in races very often, as you know.

Besides, my ever increasing gauntness is only further chiseling my matinee idol looks. You know this, and it kills you.

It rained a bit earlier in the afternoon--just enough to wet the ground and jack up the humidity.
I finished the ride drenched in sweat. But that's what happens when you lay down an impressive time in a Boulevard de Freds "time trial," as I did.

I need a vacation.
I'm thinking Greece and take the bicycle.

If you are dense and needed another reason why Jens Voigt is the coolest dude in the peleton, look no further:

So then the broom wagon pulled up and was like, “Do you want to just get in?” And I said, “Oh no, I don’t need YOU!” But there I am with blood spurting out my left elbow and no bike. Finally, the race organizers got me a bike, but it was this little yellow junior bike. It was way too small for me and even had old-fashioned toe-clip pedals. But that is the only way I could get down the mountain, so I had to ride it for like 15-20 kilometers until I finally got to a team car with my bike.

I rode my backup bike with the aero bar clip-ons today 34 min 20 km effort for 21.9 mph...those damn aerobars seem to work somewhat. Unfortanatly I am still very slow compared to the local TT guys. I imagine if I rode it more I could do better, but not the 25+ some guys do.

I'm going to do some sprint work outs tomorrow. Going to a flat stretch of road with no lights or stop signs, no turns. Perfect. I guess I'll just sprint down, coast back, repeat. It's like 7/10 of a mile I think.
I get my permit monday!
How do you respond to the poor BF kid who's shaft has gone numb?
You three should go talk to him and cheer him up.
