Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I haven't done any long rides this year. First year I did an 82 mile ride. Last year, my longest was 60. This year, 24. This isn't good.

Not a good trend. Do what I do. Dont think about it , just pick a day when you feel good. Take a piece of tape and write down your odometer reading + 50 miles. Stick it on the bars and GO. when you hit the # on the tape, do 180*. bingo a century.

Got my bike 2 years ago. First year, put 1268 on it. Last year, 2274. This year, I'm at 903. I need to find more time to ride.

I actually really like to ride. Owning my own business and working at a second is time consuming. Fitting the rides in has taken a back seat. You are right, not good. Hmnn....

You should try traveling for work and finding time to ride. I usually go for 7-14 days with 2 -4 off between. last year I still managed to get almost 3500 miles. but this year doesnt look as good.

There was a funny video I saw where it said something esploded, then it esploded again. And, there was something about guacamole in it.

My neighbor is a complete and utter idiot. In that sense the parallel with BF is rather predictable.

I dreamed that the Indian family (who I haven't seen in many years) arranged to have a delicious banquet in my honor at a convention center.

I was disappointed because the staff started talking away the food from the buffet when I still wanted to eat more.
