Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I'm reasonably sure I average at least 20K of climbing per week, and we don't have any big climbs around here either.

To be clear, if you're a regular participant on this thread, you must elevate yourself to a higher level of Cycling Zen, far above the silly Fred/Road Nazi bickering and white noise that pervades this stupid Forum.

I was wrong--there apparently is one about 25 miles away, but I've never ridden by it.

Those are really very good. I only beat you with less tri. Our total is very similar 150s but my LDL is higher and HDL is lower.
(I used to have a really good ratio because of very high HDLs, after exercise and weight loss my total went down 40 ish but 20 was HDLs killing my ratio )

and in the elevations pissing contest I live in a super flat area and average between 2000-4000 ft/week in between 90-120 miles average.

However, when I upload to garmin connect and enable the 'correction" it cuts it in half most of the time (cdr has said the barometric altimiter is more accurate than the garmin waypoints so I am not sure if the "correction" is actually correct.

Picked up some replacement white bar tape tonight. I forgot I don't have any electrical tape, or I'd wrap it immediately. Gotta wait till work tomorrow.

Actually, it's more like 30-35 miles. And no, I haven't had the occasion to do a ~70 mile ride to that particular spot just to say I rode by the Piggly Wiggly grocery store.
