Some types of Nuts are lower calories than others.

Not sure which, but Almonds vs. Peanuts vs. cashews vs. Walnuts vs. Hazelnuts, et cetera.

It's all good if doing so doesn't reduce your quality of life. I think some people become miserable trying to live longer. I'm into small changes that become habit. Some of what the docs tell you is really just today's medical fad, some is legit. Bottom line for me is to eat less processed foods and drink more. I was really enjoying the drinking more part until I found out they meant water.
