What's wrong with going and riding some and having it fitted at a shop?

2013 CAAD 8 8, upgraded from 2300 to 105 and Shimano r-501 wheelset. It, and myself, are a work in progress. It's 50% commuter and 50% weekend rider. |

Awesome training camp with the team. 3 days of climbing torture but still managed to snap a great scenery.

That bike deserves a better backdrop. Where the heck is that?

From last week just before finishing.
Zipp bars, stem, seatpost, prologo carbon saddle. I managed to grab syncross wheels off a customer in the shop for a good price. Old 10 speed Sram Red. The bike rides great, couldn't be happier. That CAAD10 with Campy looks fantastic. Most anything with classic drops and Campy is solid in my book. |

WOW !! i had a 2013 CAAD10 105 in this colour last year but sold it to get the 2014 Black CAAD10 ultegra. where is was thinking about having it more black, you have had the vision to make the other bits silver. excellent thought behind the colour scheme. i love my black stealth, but if i had of seen this pic last year, i would have been happy keeping by raw/black knowing that it could turn out like this

[QUOTE=THSdrummer;16428903]Which Zipp bar model? I'm a fan of the my Deda Newton Shallows, but if I go weight weenie (which I've started some what), I'd like a set of lightweight handlebars. Ritchey's new Neoclassic bars have good dimensions, but still tip the scales a bit heavy.
These are the bars http://www.zipp.com/bars/service-course-sl-88---/ I'm adding some Cero AR30 wheels, very light and do the job. I really do love the bike. The silver campy Caad10 is a good looking machine, very tidy. |

Here is my CAAD 10 52cm custom build. Always been a Campag fan so stripped a regular 105 CAAD 10 and put all the bits on another frame.
I fitted http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=360815a chainsuck protector from a Super Six... needed a bit of shaping but fits a treat now. |

I drove up to Jersey to get my new bike this past Thursday. Walked in the door Friday morning to the shop at 10 and rode out by 12. Since then I have ridden around 150 miles in four different states along with the nation's capital. Here is a shot in front of the White House on a very windy Saturday.
http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=360830 http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=360831 The smile hasn't left my face, even while I wait for the snow to melt. So, I apologize for the delay in posting pictures...but I was out riding :ride: |

Seymour, how do you get it to be a large photo rather than just the thumbnail?
