I also lucked out and bought this saddle a while ago...it matches the matte/gloss theme as well, lol:

Excellent chain position as well. I bet she's (he's?) fast. Thoughts on your Romin Evo saddle? I've been looking at picking up a Romin or Toupe for quite some time. Struggling to find one at a good price. Plus, I've heard Romins tend to wear out the inside of bib shorts, and I can't afford that! I know, I know, "each bum is different". I'm just curious on your take on it and how long you've been riding it. |

Great bike and an even better kickstand. Where do you put the Coors while your riding?

Snap. Ditch the Coor's Lite box and I'd be interested in some HQ pictures for my desktop! I really dig the crud fenders and the top tube bag. It makes me feel like you could ride this thing for days.

Both the phenom and the gel toupe have been outstanding. I've ridden the phenom on my cross, road, And Mtb and I must say it is the best at being comfortable instantly. The gel toupe is also super comfortable bit slightly short for my continuous repositionioning on my road bike but feels superb on my cx bike. The romin is firm and serious and it looks so beautiful so I will attempt to get used to it. When you go specializedyoy won't regret. Safe bet with any over there saddles. |

You should race it with the fenders on. Just imagine the look on everyone's faces when you fly past them in the sprint for the finish.

What crank is that? BB30 compatible? I'm looking to upgrade from stock SLK, question would a 10 speed crank work with the new ultegra 11 speed groupo? |
It's a Quarq Power Meter...not sure which model. You can get them in a few different bb configurations, included BB30.

Did some searching...appears to be compatible without issues.
Ultimately my goal is to "black out" the bike a bit more without breaking the bank so to speak, so my other idea was to maybe just acquire some SRAM red chainrings and swap em out for the silver ones the SLK lites come with. Both chain rings are 130 bcd so I don't see any problems regarding that issue, my concern is being the SRAM rings are 10 speed, I'm running 11 ultegra. Any advantages/disadvantages with running this setup? Here's a pic: http://m.ebay.com/itm/111262973849 |

Can synapse play? Technically is says CAAD on the seat tube :p But I have been thinking about selling it and picking up a CAAD10 :D Is anyone 6'2" riding a 56? |

Ok according to some quick research looks like a SRAM red crank.

Personally, if I were going to update the crankset and not go power based nor stick with ultegra/dura-ace, I'd be looking at the cannondale hollowgram/spiderring combo, or hollowgram cranks/praxis rings, or rotor cranks/praxis rings. |

I agree. The Red cranks are plenty good and what I have on my bike, but the hollowgrams are the best BB30 option out there, barring boutique brand exotica.
http://m.ebay.com/itm/271313848294?nav=SEARCH&sbk=1 Like I said before I don't quite wanna take that leap just yet so I figure either get the complete sram RED crankset or just the black chain rings and keep the stock FSA SLK n swap out the rings running ultegra 11 speed. But damn those hollows do look amazing! |

I'd still check out Praxis though. They're stuff is quality. http://praxiscycles.com/road-cyclocross/ |

Are you aware the Romin and Romin Evo are different shapes? I switched to the Evo which "turns down more" at the wings or edges and does not wear my shorts as much. I ended up ordering $1200 in saddles and sent them all back aside from the Romin Evo.
I'm not sure I want to wear a hole prematurely in my nice bib shorts. I understand they'll get worn out eventually, but hopefully that's years from now. I treat them all well. |

I was not aware of this difference. A sells rep did hint to the non-Evo being wider at the nose. Stating the Evo was easier on shorts around the nose area.
