Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Kind of makes sense to me since I ride by myself a lot. Other than alone, obviously this wouldn't matter. I'm thinking of getting a Garmin precisely for this purpose though.
I'm no grammar expert, but I would like to point out that there are actually two different spellings and meanings for the words: 'sense' and 'since'.

I've thought about this too. None of the bike mounts I have seen work with a protective case. Thinking about a Garmn as well....at least once my company gets out of this crazy start-up-negative-cash-flow-phase!

I just keep my droid in my back pocket of my jersey zipped and it works just fine. Most of the rides I do I can just put it in a pocket with elastic only. I used to put it in my gear bag and it worked fine there too but it was a pain to get in and out.

It has really come a long way in 1 year.
I believe part of what makes it better is the firmware for the android application it self. When I send an e-mail to my phone I get it in 5 min at the very most. This is on the original Android. I seem to remember it taking longer before.
