It is very unlikely that a person of European descent, or anyone of the established Colonies and outlying lands conquered by their homelands, actually has a Coat of Arms. Unless you are at risk of being a public figure or holding a position of power there is little reason to concern yourself. Old money has dalliances but marries well, if you like examples. Sir Chris Hoy doubtless had a little more than a background check before being knighted might be a more accessible one.

Why the sudden interest in holding a Coat of Arms, VG? Full disclosure before you produce the blood test results and sign off on the license at the courthouse?

Yeah, I've a buncha Masons on my Dad's side, but don't think either side would have a coat of arms. Mom's side has been traced way back to 18th century in America, but probably not high society.

I have something for this but the innuendos have been overdone tonight.. Apparently the 29th April 2011 is the majestic day.

The closest thing I've found to a coat of arms is the coat of the nearby village where my surname family came from.
Cute, eh?

Mom was an actual "Coal Miner's Daughter." Seems like that should grant her some special recognition.

Ok, enough restraint.
No golden balls, how disappointing
I may pull more James Bond references from the books out so be warned

No idea but looking up Vol shows a set of wings. Velo was obviously not invented yet.

Perchance the nocturnal vagaries of a striped feline reek havoc on my REM aspirations and as a fallout I must seek dormancy in a serpentine fashion.
