There was a guy at the LBS who was very much how Crash and I imagined R*z*r is in person. He was quite impressed with crash's carbon pedals, socks, and guads.

Velo Vol doesn't look like himself today.

Nice 44 mile ride this evening. Did about 21 miles solo then met up with the bike club. I'm now a whopping 32 miles from reaching my goal of reaching 1,000 for the month. Woohoo!!!

does anyone know of a custom wheelbuilder that does powertap rearwheels?
Everyone seems to sell them as sets (at least on their sites) psimet, november, williams, etc... I am hoping to get a 50-58mm carbon clincher on a pro+ hub for ~ $1200 (hopefully less) which seems ballpark since the powertap sets are between roughly 1600 and 1700.
Gonna email november about it tommorrow, but they are out of rims for the time being anyway.

Haven't heard from coasting since the mountain climbing challenge. I hope he didn't fall off.

Well my day off work started early. My phone rang at 5:42am, it was my brother. He saw where I sent him a text yesterday so thought he would call me.

I just went mountain biking today, and it was fun. Wet, and muddy, but fun none the less. It was more fun than I remembered, and we didn't even smoke any marijuana.

Yeah, something like that. What sucks is that I can't get him back since he rarely has his phone on.

I don't think I've had Mary Jane out for a MTB ride since around 1992, but it's still the most fun ever. I'm hoping trails dry out by Sunday so I can hit up some of the local action.

I've been off-roading it more this spring, since my road bike is in pieces right now. Not real MTBing, the country bike isn't tired for that. Just cruising the farm fields around here.
