That seems to be where Vol has been too. More proof that they are the same person?

Decided to take the day off the bike. Going to visit a friend of mine's mom in hospice then going to see Fast and Furious 5. The lady in hospice is a very special lady, she was like a mom to me growing up.

Except that she can't be referred to as "Princess Catherine" because she's not of royal blood (aka inbred). She's just a lousy old Duchess of Cambridge.
Eff that.
She will however be called Queen Catherine whenever William becomes King William.

Must be one heck of a pre-nup.

I've been to Cambridge. She could do worse.

A lot has happened in the past week. But before I summarize, I want to announce that I got a
Garmin Edge 500
HR Monitor
Speed/Cadence sensor
Shimano SPD Pedals/Cleats
Look Tri shoes
I'm finishing up the site I'm doing for bikes direct and my second half of my payment in the form of a new tri bike will arrive shortly thereafter. At which point I am going to seriously progress my training forward.
I'll look through the thread later tonight. Got a dinner/movie date with my wife. First time since our son was born.

I know it's not custom, but I saw a link to this on the other side of the internet. https://www.trisports.com/power-tap-pro-dtswiss.html

First decent day all week so I got to disperse 20 yards of mulch across 5 acres of beds and trees.
I hardly started whatever level it was on so I have no idea. Three pigs in brick houses and I had a slingshot and bomb birds.
Sadly I was away from all modern media sources and was not witness to the royal extravaganza. I'm sure enough tears of joy were shed that mine were not missed.

Poor rjones28 continues his yeoman effort of trying to mold something resembling a thread from this random babble. And what does he get for it? Nothing.
Is cyclo-cross the cycling version of steeplechase? If so, I tried my hand at it today.
I was headed up a hill on a MUP connector when I happened upon a great fallen oak. Dusk was drawing nigh and I didn't really have time to backtrack, so I said, "Screw it, I'm going over."
But said oak was not in an accommodative mood. There was a large branch jetting up over the pavement, so I had to detour a few yards off the path to find a low enough crossing.
After cautiously tiptoeing to the passage point, I engaged in a feat of upper body strength by hoisting my bicycle over the waist-high log and carefully setting it down on the opposite embankment, so it wouldn't fall.
Next I had to hurdle the timber myself. It turns out cycling shoes aren't very good for climbing over obstacles, so I had to halfway roll over the top of the log.
After reuniting with my bike on the upper side, I slowly negotiated the treacherous walk back to the MUP.
The challenge was not over. I made an executive decision that it wouldn't be prudent to attempt to ride up the hill from a dead start, due to all the leaves and twigs covering the path. So I made my assault by foot.
Thus in just a 100 yards I overcame the most rigorous technical demands cyclo-cross has to offer.
A star is born.

A pet peeve of mine. Why have a cell if it's not on? I go through days trying to contact my wife...always off. Wait...maybe she just does not want to talk with me. Hadn't thought of that until now.

I don't know how I lived without the Edge 500.
In fact, I'm sure I didn't.
