Today is day three of my rest week. It's weird, but I think my achilles is hurting more now that I have been off the bike for a couple of days. I'll find out tomorrow when I head out for the group ride.

I'm disappointed in this thread.

Hmmm, I'm usually pretty open about my thoughts but I told Makel privately that I was afraid of turning this into the wet t-shirt contest of bike fittings. Coupled with openly telling VG to avoid seeemingly sensible male advice I still think I was right to drink my way through this disaster. BTW, to properly fit you I need a picture seeing how close you can come to touching your elbows behind your back. Very important.

you give yourself way too much credit. You were nowhere near the biggest assbucket. And MM tries too hard.

(whispers) Sure, after giving some thought out input on how her aero stance could be adjusted, I'm the oppressive priick salivating like a wolf? Not that VG shies away from attention but what is a more conservative choice of clothing in 90+ degree FL was apparently too stimulating for some. I'd be pissed if someone told me to pull up my pants and refasten that belt, too.

It's an internet forum for bike weenies, not the CDC.

To be honest Vol, if it is full of actual drama it may be well received by serious people with something to add. You seem to be ignoring what it would take to get people rushing towards the drama. Lowest common denominator and there is no accounting for taste might be two things to keep in mind if you want to play in the mud.
People don't want to here about suicide training or supposed epic cyclocross feats unless you are capable of making the story more interesting than the event.

Ten pages is a stretch for anybody nowadays, VV. In the winter, maybe.

I'm sure you have generated at least ten pages of addiction material without resorting to being that obvious. You need to make your intended audience engage others.

Ya, that's usually a winner.
Ya know, the eyes are usually the first thing to go.
