Nice song.

ok...i don't know what all the drama was about but skimming the last couple of pages, here's my take:

1) Doctors are not overpaid....not anymore. Tough job. Old retired docs of yesteryear were.
2) I've eaten goose and duck. I like both, but Duck is better.

My contribution.

coasting 02-05-13 04:44 AM

I was at the the hospital getting a blood test today and the person I went with said to the technician/nurse taking the blood, "He's so fat, how are you going to get any blood out of him?" and the whole waiting room laughed. hmmmmmm.

Net income of general practitioner or surgeon today is far less than it was a generation ago.
Why is duck better- less greasy?, not as tough? do they taste similar or are they totally different.

Goose is firmer and more chewy. The taste is more subtle than duck. Both are very very greasy. It's kind of like how some meat is described as more gamey...well duck is more "gamey" if you get what I'm trying to say. I like stronger flavour meat, so I like beef rather than chicken.

Of course you didn't find it obnoxiously hard, your ftp is set for a six year old girl. Step it up buttercup. :p

I probably shouldn't say much though, I still have my ftp set kind of low since I'm working more on base than trying to get strong right now.

It must be nice to have it all figured out.
It's awesome - as you well know.

My colonoscopy got moved up to Friday, so I’m not sure I’m good for the Tour de Phred on Saturday, we’ll see.

Looking forward to the drugs of course.

Business is picking up here. I ascribe it to my cunning business acumen and relentless drive.

HTFU old man. Last time I had a colonoscopy I went for a ride three hours later.

Actually under the terms of the America Invents Act (patent reform legislation passed recently) on March 16th the US switches over to the first to file system (consistent with most of the world) vs. the existing first to invent basis. That's going to make corporate patent entities file first and ask questions later; that potentially means a significant uptick in business for guys like me that work on the patent prosecution side. Many of the patent attorneys we work for think that's what will happen.

Yeah but for you that was only like riding after sex. No big deal.

Your skepticism regarding my humility disappoints the BF Holy See.

I don't think you will have any problems riding the day after.

Please don't post any pics of your internal anatomy. We already know too much.

Yeah... it's VP based on the KKRM, so who knows what my ACTUAL output was. And for me, riding is that annoying thing I have to do between swimming and running, so it only gets a couple of hours a week. The middle of a tri is like a damn freight train going by on my left, then I chase them all down on the run.

About 10 years ago, I bought a 20 year old Ford F-150 4X4. This thing was a Redneck's wet dream. Every square foot had a dent, rust everywhere, the holes in the floorboards were covered by Budweiser boxes, it had Super Swamper tires and a gun rack in the back window. I paid $500 for it and drove it 20,000 miles in a year before trading it in.

At 6 mpg, I did NOT get my money's worth.

I like duck. Never had goose. My mom always made it sound so unappetizing. She grew up with a tradition of a goose for christmas and always talked about how awful and greasy it was. However, I suspect she got her cooking skills from her mother, and in that case, understand why it was so bad.
