Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Hey, anyone here got computing skills to match their riding skills? (stupid question).

I log into my hotmail accounts (all three of them), but my email directories keep coming up blank on my screen. I can't even email the b@stards at hotmail to complain about it.

Anyone know what gives?

By the way, my riding skills far far outweight my computing skills (obviously).

Hi Rowan,

My hotmail account is working fine. Any chance you can try accessing yours from another computer?

Cheers,
Dave

Does this look like the 'total nerd' forum?......I've only just worked out how to turn the bastard on, let alone anything else.....531 might be a chance?, (not that he's a total nerd, but he's into 'electrogizmetry')

Was the Giant a permant loaner'?

Did you ask about his "sponsorship" with Pro Motion?

Does it just say "there are no messages in this folder"?

Not really. I'm only an aspiring computer geek; I didn't even know how to post a photo until the other day.

nah I didn't ask......but leon never used to give the 'boys' bikes even as a loan....so I reckon he musta paid for the 'Look' himself....he's actually shorter than I thought too....was behind him a few times on the 'hell ride', he told me the frame was a 51...but i reckon it looks smaller than that....its hard to tell with these 'Evolusize' thing that 'look' does with the 486

No. Thing is, it is a completely blank screen. You can see the download progress on the bottom status bar, and when that has done its thing, just the mouse pointer on screen. Nothing downloads. So have no access to my files, nor can I even initiate an email. Very weird.

Mind you, I have noticed that the hotmail address on the status bar is in numbers rather than Connecting to https://www.hotmail.com.... or whatever it is.

I've forgotten exactly what happened.

Wasn't Hubner Neiwand's training partner, then he turned on him, or something?
Accused him of cheating, maybe?

I'll bet you measured the distance from the valve to the start of the writing on the tyre....so you had both wheels exactly the same?...BTW...how do you load piccy's?

There is a thread about it, but it doesn't give everything.

https://www.bikeforums.net/forum-suggestions-user-assistance/79678-photo-posting-q.html

It depends on the type of photo. If it's a "jpg", you can just put "" at the end.

Doesn't sound like it's just hotmail. Can you get to any websites? https://www.google.com.au/ ?

Yep. Any website. gmail as rocky posted; google.com... all no problems.

I can actually enter the hotmail portal and get the dialogue box with my hotmail address, but after entering the password, that's it... gone into the ether.

I tried a new account. Same deal.

<scratches head> <shrugs> Oh well, I'll keep trying. I'll find another computer somewhere and see what happens.

After you enter your Username/Password you get a blank screen. What is the new link in your URL bar? Does it change from https://<something> to https://<somethingelse? ?

Could be your security settings in Internet Explore, or any other number of things.
I'm sure you'll figure it out

I'm just about to head off for the day. Boozy lunch, followed by the afternoon off Gotta love working for the Uni.
