Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

That's the same seller isn't it? Wonder if that's another copy or the last dude didn't pay up? Or he's rorting dudes for money then not giving the book up, then selling again for more rorts. Ebay's DANGEROUS!!!

Thanks for that.

Oh. I didn't notice. Don't suppose anything was entered as to why he pulled it?

No it just ended early. I thought it might be because he'd sold it offline or that he wasn't getting a high enough price for it.

250 is ridiculous!!!!!! No farken way? Is he serious?

Look, I value his opinion, but when I got fitted up, he kept getting interrupted, muttered something about wedging my left foot, and just scribbled some numbers on a photocopied piece of paper and handed it to me.

That's not 250 bucks an hour worth of professional work in my opinion. I think his knowledge is valuable, but fark, talk about taking advantage of a monopoly.

Man, this is getting under my collar. I usually allow for 150 bucks worth of fitting with the cost of my road frames, but I don't want to add 100 bucks to my costs just because Kennedy wants to only sell to fat doctors and merchant bankers.

I have a degree and 10 years worth of Industrial Design experience and I don't even charge close to 250 bucks an hour. Does anyone else do quality fitting here in Melbourne?

Must be a bike shop boy. Seems to be adjective deficient.

Doesn't say 'hi' either.

Built like a bull (one that's definitely seen better days) which certainly puts me out of the "bike shop boy" category. Yep, beach road user 2-4 mornings a week.
