Thanks for the tip. I have some Boseshield wax-based chain lube that I really like, I'll try that out, it seems like it should work the same. My saddle also has hollow Ti rails.

I had this same problem for a while...I finally just started wearing contacts when I ride and sunglasses over them. If anything happens to the sunglasses, I can ride without them and still see.
