Wow indeed!
I guess they are liquidating the Toni Bevilacqua museum collection? Didn't realize Sergio Sanvido passed away last year...

1953 Schwinn

I have an old bike from the fifties made by Schwinn looking to get $100, tires do hold air and rideable shape...will not take offers...

I'd flip that if I were local. Worth probably 5x asking.

I'd say more like 59-60cm. My size is 56cm, that's way too big for me!

Custom-made Green Pedersen Bicycle

Handmade tubular steel Pedersen Bicycle by Jesper Solling. The bike was rarely used over the years, so it is still in near-pristine condition. Feel free to contact me via text or e-mail with any questions!

I finally heard back from the seller about this bike. Is there somebody here who can help me have this bike packed and shipped to Los Angeles? Looking at the bike, packing it may be a challenge. I would really appreciate somebody's help on this.

Now that's just ridiculous. I'd sell that for double, probably 3x more, here in Dublin.

It is a CP Ti frame. The only one that I watched via Ebay, which is the best "fair market" reference I have available, sold for about a grand maybe 3 years ago. Azorch, another BFer, was the seller.

There is a place in Oak Park that specializes in shipping bikes :

https://www.shipbikes.com/ContactUs.html

They are part of Licktons, which some other members here are familiar with from buying items online.

I have never used them for shipping bikes, but I have purchased parts and tools from Licktons (in person).
Give them a call to see if they can help. Bob can be a little ornery, but is really helpful otherwise.

I think that bike was up for sale about a year or two ago because I remember that name, which is a unusual name, and I remember the color and black lugs which is also unusual.

I've sent an email through CL to the seller, let's hope he replies. I *hope* he's willing to have an LBS package it, I'm sure I can arrange FedEx to pick it up. I've done the maths, I'll be paying a bit for it, but it's still worth it - we don't get bikes like this in Dublin!

Oh, that French bike posting got deleted. Nice looking.

In New Hampshire:

Here, I found, though, this is not a sought after bike, it is interesting to see a Huffy rendition of a Mixte. I don't think the headlamp and back light are even functioning and are there for decor. It's still kind of interesting though not at this price. Looks like it is built like a tank. Surely made in China, maybe the big box stores have them. I once rode a Huffy and it did not fall apart on me. As a casual beach bike, this might be okay for some. More pictures at link.
